New Season Brings High Expectations

The 2017-2018 season is less than a month away and there are exciting new changes at FC Alliance.  The most notable is with teams U13 and older.  The club begins inaugural seasons in two extremely competitive leagues: ECNL for girls and ENPL for the boys.  With the tougher leagues come tougher competition and more intense games.  There may be a learning curve, but the club is ready for this giant leap forward for players in the East Tennessee soccer community.  No club in the state of Tennessee has ever competed in leagues of this caliber.  Everything has to go up in level, including the training environment.  It begins with team camps July 24-28.  The coaching staff- perhaps the best in club history- is more than ready to begin training.

Speaking of staff, several new additions highlight the roster.  Sean Fraser, the new head women's coach at Lincoln Memorial University, will lead the 07 Girls Black.  Fraser has experience coaching club at both Middlesbrough and Sunderland of the English Premier League.  Former Lady Vol Jayden Barrett, who joined the club last spring, will be taking on head coaching roles for both the 08 and 09 Girls.  The club also added Tusculum associate head coach Josh Scott as technical director.
