Paulo Neto: New Knoxville Force Coach
Coach Neto takes head coaching position of men's team

Coach Paulo Neto has accomplished a lot as a soccer coach.  As a club coach for FC Alliance, he has won numerous state championships and led teams to regional and national prominence.  In the collegiate ranks, he has guided Shorter University to the region finals.  As a professional coach, he has led first-year Gulf Coast to a second place league finish.  Now, the local community has called on him to bring soccer prominence to East Tennessee.  Beginning this spring, Coach Paulo Neto is the new head coach for the Knoxville Force.

"This is a very exciting time for Knoxville," said FC Alliance Academy Director Darrick Lubell.  "We are excited to see Coach Neto bring the same brand of soccer he has infused in our club to the Knoxville Force.  It will be exciting, entertaining, and very successful."

Coach Neto is also known for his fiery and passionate disposition.  A Brazilian by birth, he wears his emotions on his sleeve and is beloved by his players.

"Paulo Neto builds championships," said FC Alliance Executive Director Jon Schneider.  "He knows how to assemble players, develop them, and then motivate everyone to compete at the highest level.  It's going to be fun watching him grow the Force."

Coach Neto's appointment to the role also creates a connection between FC Alliance and the Force.  With the team playing his style- skillful and creative, yet organized- club directors will be urging teams and players to watch them play as often as possible.

"It will be a great learning tool for our kids," added Lubell.  "Our players will get the chance to see how soccer should be played at the highest level without having to sit in front of the television."
