FC Alliance Players Named All-Americans
Four players tabbed All-Americans; another four All-South

As the year draws to an end, the awards and honors are starting to pile up for FC Alliance players.  Club directors were very pleased when the NSCAA announced that four FC Alliance players have been named high school All-Americans.  Katie Beurlein (Farragut), Tim Baker (Catholic), Arturo Rocha (McCallie) and Meg Howard (Brentwood) join an exclusive club recognizing the best high school players in the nation.  Another four players have earned prestigious high school All-South honors: Ben Holt (CAK), Caleb Lucas (Maryville), Laura Foster (CAK) and Chris Gardea (CBA).  FC Alliance, which focuses primarily on player development, announced Monday that the club is "ecstatic for this outstanding group of young men and women."

It is a fitting end for what has been an amazing year for the club.  The first part of the year saw a long list of FC Alliance players continue their soccer careers at the collegiate level, spanning all divisions from the NAIA to the NCAA.  This summer, Tim Baker was named the ESPN/Gatorade player of the year in Tennessee.  This, coupled with numerous state championships and premier league titles, has garnered the club strong respect nationally.
