Chad Stocton

Chad Stocton was recently named head coach of the Knoxville Force after a successful tenure as FC Alliance's Boys Assistant Director and Director of College Recruiting.  Coach Stocton will retain his role as an FC Alliance director while leading a Force team heavy with club alumni.  His focus with the club has been on leading senior teams to success at the highest levels, while helping players find collegiate homes.  Coach Stocton's teams have become a hotbed for college coaches over the last ten years. During this time, approximately 80% of his players move onto the collegiate ranks to where his players have signed at all levels of play.  Between his 96, 97, and 98 teams, he had 43 players sign with schools; 17 of those signed with NCAA Division 1 schools.

Stocton has seen much success on the field, as well.  This past year, his 98 team won the Region Premier League which is considered the toughest league in the southeast.  His teams have finished in the top 4 of the Region Premier Leagues the last five out of six years.  He has also led teams to two state championships.

Coach Stocton has been coaching for 17 years in the Tri-Cities and Knoxville area. He played college soccer at King College, and then immediately got into coaching: he was the assistant coach with the inaugural King College women's team.  After work transferred him to Knoxville, he quickly joined up with FC Alliance and started working with the top teams and as a goalkeeper trainer. The last five goalkeepers Stocton has trained all accepted scholarships at the Division 1 and Division 2 levels.  He has an Advanced National Diploma and will be looking to continue his coaching education in the future.

Chad works full-time in sales management and has been married to Janel for 8 years.  His daughter, Aleena, currently plays on one of the club's black-level teams.
