Hello goalkeepers and families
It is time for an exciting fall of goalkeeper training! We hope to see all goalkeepers in attendance REGULARLY at these sessions. We have an energetic staff of experienced goalkeeper coaches ready to help you take your game to the next level. Training sessions are available on Monday and Wednesday nights. Please locate the appropraite age group training session in the schedule below.
There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to attend these sessions. Just show up!. Practice jerseys are not required.
Topics covered will include every aspect of being a successful goalkeeper, including: ready position, catching, breakaways, crosses, footwork, punting, goalk kicks, throwing, communication and more. For a brief overview of topics and key points, please consult the training manual PDF located on the left side of the Keeper Page.

Mistakes Even YOU Should Not Make
First of all, let me preface this goalkeeper analysis with a disclaimer: it’s always easy to make saves sitting on the couch in your living room. Playing goalkeeper against the world’s best players, under the microscope of 7 billion watchful eyes, is a daunting challenge. Shots that may seem stoppable on TV are probably moving a lot faster (and in more directions) than you can imagine.
However, even at the risk of being hypocritical, it’s time to dissect the mistakes that some of the world’s most talented keepers have made over the last week. As gifted as these athletes are, even youth goalkeepers can learn from some of the basic technical breakdowns that have occurred.
